Hello! My name is Tyler Teague, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as the Interim Children's Minister here at First Baptist Church, Clarksville.

 

I came to know the Lord at a young age and have been blessed to grow up in the church, with a deep love for both worship and discipleship. Being raised in a pastor’s home, I was surrounded by ministry from an early age, which played a significant role in shaping my calling. Over the years, the Lord has continued to grow my passion for helping others know Him, especially the next generation.

I have had the privilege of serving in a variety of ministry roles, including as the Children’s Ministry Director at First Baptist Booneville and as a church intern at First Baptist Lavaca, where I gained experience in kids, youth, and worship ministry. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Management at Arkansas Tech University, with the goal of using both practical leadership and a heart for ministry to serve the local church well.

 

I also had the opportunity to participate in the Disney College Program as a Food and Beverage Cast Member, where I gained valuable experience in leadership, teamwork, and serving people from all walks of life.

My heart is to see kids and families grow in their relationship with Jesus and to partner with parents in discipling their children. I am passionate about creating environments where kids feel known, loved, and excited to learn about God’s Word.

In my free time, I enjoy singing, spending time with friends and family, reading, and being involved in the Arkansas Tech BCM. I am thankful for what God is doing in and through this church and look forward to being a part of it!
