At FBC we use many different art forms to glorify our Lord. These are some of the teams that exist to do just that.
"Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, praise His name." -Psalm 96:1&2
Starting with our youngest worshipers, we have our SHOUT Choir. This appropriately named group is made up of 1st -6th graders. Needless to say this is one of our most exciting teams. They meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 - 7:30. (not in the summer) We also have a children's handbell team that meets during the school year on Tuesdays at 3:30.
Our adults have many opportunities to lead through singing. One such way is our Worship Leading Choir. This group meets on Sunday mornings at 8:00 and is open to anyone who wants to get their feet wet in our vocal ministry. This choir leads alongside the band & vocal teams all but one Sunday a month.
Another opportunity to lead in our vocal ministry is through our praise teams. These groups of 2-4 vocalists lead every week and are a vital part of our corporate worship experiences here at FBC. They meet to rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7:30-9:30. These vocalists must be a part of the worship leading choir as well as audition to lead on a team.
We also have a vocal ensemble that leads at various times throughout the year.
"David told the leaders of the Levites to appoint their brothers as singers to sing joyful songs, accompanied by musical instruments: Lyres, harps & cymbals." - 1 Chronicles 15:16
One of the key elements to our worship experience is the praise bands. We have several different bands that lead every week. They usher in the Lord's presence and serve to glorify Him through their instruments. These bands rehearse with the praise teams on Wednesday evenings from 7:30-9:30. Audition required.

APRIL SCHEDULE
"David...danced before the Lord with all His might" - 2 Samuel 6:14
Our Praise Dancers exist to dance before the Lord just as David did, in an exciting, visual act of worship. Their interprative dancing has blessed us on several occasions.
"Send me, therefore a man skilled to work in gold and silver, bronze and iron, and in purple, crimson and blue yarn, and experienced in the art of engraving" - 2 Chronicles 2:7
Just as was done in biblical times, we continue the tradition of worshiping our Lord through the skill of painting and crafting art.

Audio / Visual Team
With all of the many different aspects of our corporate worship, this is the team that we truly couldn't do without. They do everything from live & recorded sound engineering, to lights, video, slides and much more. Let's face it, we live in a very audio/visual culture. We now have a video venue service called "The Court" in which this team is vitally important.
